Remove the spark,Bring the piston up to close the exhaust port(be sure its closed before inserting the rope ) ,put a rope(starter rope ) tru the spark hole to block the piston from turning,and you can unscrew your clutch.

There was a thread on here about 6-8 months ago about how to do this and how to fabricate a clutch removal tool. I made a couple for some different size clutches on my Sthil saws, they work slick.

You sound like your new to saws, a clutch does not have fins, that is a flywheel, that needs a puller. Also a clutch has a left - handed thread when you go to unscrew it.
