015 Ignition

I have been working on my 015 and the ignition is messed up. From the wires to the condenser, it is missing insulation and is a mess. I have thought about switching it from magneto to electronic. Do you guys have any advice and how I should do it? I've never worked on an ignition system before and this is all very new and confusing.

Pictures would help. You can re-wire it yourself with standard 18awg and a few connectors if you wish. Capacitors for these saws are circa 200NF and should be able to take a charge, hold a charge and discharge. I have a video on it. Skip to 5 mins.

This saw is worth fixing, I really like running mine because it has more power than most top handle saws sold today:

I bought it used, and the only repair I ever had to do was replace the fuel line and fuel filter.
