Humidifier to work on wood furnace

I have a whole house humidifier hooked up to my return and has a pipe that goes to the duct as well. It receives power from my backup propane furnace. In the winter I do not use propane and have a Fire Chief wood furnace. Would anyone know how to wire the humidifier (24volt) so that it would work on the wood furnace? I am ignorant when it comes to wiring. Any help would be appreciated.
