Hello all,

I am in the process of tearing down a 2100cd to rebuild it crank up.

I struggle to get the flywheel off, but was eventually successful with heat, deep creep and a puller.

Upon removing the flywheel and inspecting it, I notice the magnet and counterweight were out of their housing. It may have been on its way out or I destroyed it. The magnet still has pull/push but is fractured in a few spots. What are my options? The saw had sparks and was firing before tear down.

There are some used flywheels on eBay etc with different part numbers and It seems like the FEMSA and SEM Ga ignition/flywheels are not interchangeable? I currently have three pawls and the flywheel # is 501675801. Could I size up a flywheel ceramic magnet to fit the housing and epoxy it in? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Bhullar.
