This is a strong running 395XP ported by Chris Ciccora who used to be on this board. Saw runs great and easily pulls an 8 pin sprocket on a 25" bar through oak. 190 psi compression (see pic). Couple little cosmetic blemishes but nothing out of the ordinary for a work saw. $600 plus shipping.clutch.JPG clutch side.JPG compression.jpg exhaust port.JPG serial number.JPG starter side.JPG timing numbers.JPG

It's more Minstrel than Monster. Why? Because iit revs so high. A Monster has the low down torque, but with 18 degrees of blow down, this saw wants to rev like a Minstrel on a 12 string. Gary has it set up perfectly with an 8 pin on a 25" bar; it flat out hauls ass through maple, oak, ash, elm , etc. Softwoods? Forgetaboutit! You don't need this saw for softwood....
