Hi chainsaw experts,
I was trying to fix my 435 Husqvarna choke lever, the red thing with a small spring, 544844302 CONTROL, got a new one, took it apart. the old one seems OK, no visible damage of any kind, possibly even better than the new one. Control lever is not staying in upper position for the cold start, housing spring brings it down. The part looking like small gear seems OK as well. By design control has a wedge preventing it from engaging in gear, so I can't figure out how those plastic parts supposed to work. Any recommendation? Do I need to replace or realign somehow part #8 with a molded gear?
Thank you!
Alex
