Putting together a Husqvarna 50 with the Huztl 46 mm kit. It will fit the 50 IF it is a later model with the larger base opening. Here is what it looks like.
The early models have a smaller base and may not fit the cylinder of the larger bore size. Here's the new cylinder sitting in place.
The new cylinder does not have the "ears" in the ports to direct flow like the OEM.
The pistons are a little bit different, and the larger one is 5 grams heavier, 87 vs 83. Will see if it causes a balance problem when I get it running.
The new cylinder came with a decompression recess, I ordered a valve for it. It is in a location where the top cover doesn't hide it, so no mod necessary. Will update the thread as the build progresses.
