I picked this up with some other saws. piston looks brand new. Plastic bright it's a really nice saw. Now the bad it starts but will not rev up I changed the plug and the carb still same issue fuel line seems good spark looks fine. I'm tired of messing with it selling it as a parts saw. $110 shipped lower 48

Can you buy a replacement piston for these? That seems like low compression for a 55... I sold one and it was up around 165. It wasn't a closed port though.

It was also not running and it turned out to be... "The right side of the carb partition plate is stripped and is causing an air leak. Seems to be a common issue with these saws, so I will try a new partition and gaskets and see if it corrects the problem."

Yeah too bad about his kid. but keep doin the same stupid ****, youll get busted.
I spent some time up there with Trevor when we were younger floating the river and out at Ingrid's fathers cabin. I never got to see his dark side. I feel bad for the family, especially Little T. You are 100% correct though. He never really pursued anything constructive.
