A lot of guys have see the STIHL chainsaw maintenance videos. Good, basic stuff for newbies as well as experienced users open to learning a things or two:

STIHL Video Library - Informative Videos about STIHL Outdoor Power Equipment | STIHL USA Mobile

Husqvarna has started posting a series of maintenance videos on YouTube (they send me notices via FaceBook). The guy doesn't appear to be working from a script, so he occasionally mis-speaks on some minor, technical items, but generally seems to know what he is talking about.

Not sure how many there are in the series, but once you get started, you can root around YouTube for videos by Husqvarna USA or HusqvarnaWorldwide on their YouTube 'Channels'.

So again, another set of training / education videos that might be of interest, regardless of what brand of saw you run:

Interesting how he asserts that chaps work by triggering engagement of chain-brake. Maybe next time, after some review, they'll get it right. Or maybe once they see a sprocket & chain clogged with kevlar or nylon.

For saws without a chain brake, you'd be SOL. :(
