Thanks for the info on what to look for on my saw. I will replace the fuel line. I don't know if it is the original; if so it's 24 years old. Great suggestion on loosening the fuel cap when it starts acting up. If it's from a blocked vent, that should tell me right away.

Nice Husky 181. It looks like yours came with a chain brake and it was taken off. My clutch cover is different, looking like it never had the chain brake.

I need to do some work on mine to get it running right. It starts missing after running a few minutes. This weekend, I'll put in a carb kit, new fuel line, and a fuel filter.
