Can a coil ground out due to goop buildup between poles and flywheel? I have a Homie super ez on the bench and it looses spark ONLY after reaching operating temperature. In the summer it will run about 10-15 minutes, winter bout a half hour. (not cutting non-stop, surely it would quit sooner cutting cookies) Anyway I found plenty of crud including caked goop on one of the coil poles. This is a Prestolite A049, non-breaker points, application gray coil. Any experience with this scenario?
