I have a 620PW headed my way now. The local dealer quoted me a price I couldn’t turn down. So we will see if that turns out to be true when I go to pick it up next week. Can’t believe the 120 page thread on it and this one, seems to be a really good saw that will serve me well for a while.

Just something different I thought I’d share, a while back I picked up a couple of freebie cs670 beaters from the scrap, built one from the best of both and decided to mount an extra bow I had laying around on it, runs and cuts good and is easy on the back, it’ll have upper and lower guards on it before I start using it around the sawmill bucking up smaller logs for 4x4, 6x6 post etc.

Well, because I can’t leave things stock for long, I got some new dogs. Honestly, I wanted these because the first few times I used the saw I kept digging in and hitting the muffler on the logs. Not liking that, I think the extra distance will help. I have multiple bar lengths so it can be compensated for. Also got one of the Stoeckel foam filter too, no pics of it though.

I haven't posted here in quite some time.I have a John Deere 30,same saw as the Echo CS 302.I got the saw over 3 1/2 yrs.ago from my old high school biology teacher's estate for $20,sight unseen. The saw was mint, but didn't idle.I did a carb adjustment & it runs like a champ & oils well too.It sat in my barn for the last 3 1/2 yrs.& I got it out today, dumped out the old fuel & put in fresh fuel & it fired right up.I think this will be one of my new limbing saws, very light & easy to handle.

That's awesome man, and a pretty cool story!

How many folks have a Echo 100 or a Echo 1001

yeah, and its really, really heavy, and has incredible compression. This one has been fully rebuilt, very well made saw.

picked up a 900 too a couple years ago, but the top end is trashed pretty bad from the looks of it and it needs a muffler. I might be able to save the cylinder i just haven't got around to it yet.
