Is my saw upgraded or not??????

I bought a Stihl MS440 with a stage 3 kit. Does anyone know if the stage 3 kit upgrades the saw performance, and if so how much does it acctually do increase bph?

Goat is right. There are a handful of guys who can build a saw that have a "stage 3" that is scary good. There are multitudes of hacks out there who will do a muffler mod and put a sticker on it to complete a "stage 3". Without knowing who did it, "stage 3" could be gold or goose crap. Odds don't favor gold, but you never know.
