This saw didn’t explode or anything. Just wouldn’t run when I got it. After massive cleaning effort, another $177 in parts and new bar & chain. And here we are.
I used it for about an hour on Saturday, my arms were still sore on Mon morning. Heck of s saw.

OEM pistons on these beasts have a steel ring land cast into them as a heatsink, found that out while fixing one for a friend. There were aftermarket pistons available that did not have that steel ringland, my research led me to believe that they were not recommended!
