Hey all,

I have a big Japanese maple in my yard that has had a large wound since before I owned the property. It’s pictured below.

I’m looking for advice on what to do to help it along. It’s a vibrant and very healthy looking tree aside from this spot, but I’m sure that if it’s not treated that this will be a deadly injury.

Any thoughts?B40827B2-4E7A-41E9-95B9-5465E94517E0.jpeg
