Jonsered 920/288XP piston compatability

I think garbage feel into it. The gap on this crank is wider than I have seen n most saws. Hope this post saves someone some pain

Hi there I know this may be raking up the dead but I've just got hold of a 920 super with a damaged pot and piston I can see there are pistons available but no cylinders is it possible to fit a pot and piston from a 288xp (shorten the skirt for clearance) or does any one know where I might source 920 parts from? I am in the UK

Cylinders do show up on ebay from time to time. Just gotta keep looking. Make sure you find the reason yours is bad before you ruin the replacement one.

I've not seen a cylinder on eBay in the uk for a very long time that's why I was asking about the 288xp cylinder and piston.
