I bought a jonsered cs2255 from an auction to clean up and resale to a friend. Good compression, piston looks good by removing muffler. I installed new air filter, fuel filter and spark plug. I am having trouble tuning the thing. It seems to start and idle ok. Problem is it boggs and wants to die at about 3/4 throttle (9000RPM). It has adjustment limiters on the screws and I can only turn about 1/2 turn. I warmed up the machine for the 10 minutes and there does not seem to be much difference in performance through the entire range of movement of the H screw. Should I try and take off the limiters? If I do will there be a forever Problem with screw creep and constant need for tuning? Something else I am missing?
