On another note, I think I've just been infected with CAD, dammit... Saw a Homey Zip saw for $25 on said Marketplace, so here we go... The infection is only due to worsen the doctor says.

It looks like my grandfather's place after he died... maybe there's some hidden gem in there, but I only see piles of scrap metal and perhaps a few spare hulks.

Buddy of mine has a friend that went there looking to buy and he said the guys prices were over the top and walked away with nothing

Come by the shop, we have 3 "sheds', piled with saws like that.

No gold plated prices either.

Did he give any examples of his prices? Im just curious because for some guys 'over the top' could mean $75 or $100 for a semi-rare saw if theyre used to paying $20 at garage sales.

Very typical in my experience. Just visited a guy near me with a pile of “vintage” saws and was “motivated to sell”. Didnt wanna sell anything and another member had the exact same experience. ****in waste of time.
