I have the bar and chain off. Got them soaking. Brushed everything but the air filter with kerosene and wiping down. I blew out the air filter best I could from the inside and wiped down the outside.
So far it’s all cleaning up good. And I’m really thinking the hole in the bar and the opening to the top groove was stopped up.
More pics to follow. [emoji1303]

HarleyT. Thank You and how close ?
I ride quite a bit ( FL Springer ), so there’s a good chance I’ve been near you.
I flushed out the fuel tank and oil tank today, then put some more kerosene in them and I’ll flush one more time.
I’m gonna finish here in a day or two. And I’ll get some more pics [emoji1303].
My only regret is I didn’t join here earlier.

Good job on the clean up Bob. Looks Great!! Now take it out and get it dirty.Next cleaned and installed side
Filled bar oil tank and added fresh fuel.
Oiled up the choke and throttle mechanisms.
Gave her a few pulls in off position to get everything moving.
Choked and started on the 2nd pull.
Left the bar off to check for oil coming out of hole.
Viola.
Installed the bar ( clean as a brand new one ) and chain.
Fired back up and appears to be oiling once again.
Much thanks to all who have helped me. The parts and service manuals were also a great help.
