i have 2, 3-year old catulpa trees. i live right at the base of the foothills in golden. we just had a very late snowstorm a week ago and it destroyed the new leafing on my trees. the new leaves are whithered & dead. what do i do now? will the trees re-leaf? can i help them out in any way?
thanks so much!!

A watch and see attitude is best. As Dr. Shigo says, Dead is Dead. reduce other stresses on them this year. Water regularly, maintain moist well drained soil conditions.

One thing you should not do is look every day for new buds, it would be like a watched pot or ones portfolio.
