Hi,

I've got a Husky 262XP that's been leaking fuel when left on its side. I traced it down to the vent tube in the fuel tank, but I don't see anything obviously wrong with the vent. It's just a tube, after all. I'm pretty sure the tank/handle itself is fine e.g. no cracked. I've picked up a replacement tube, but before I install it I'd love to hear what experience others have had with these tubes leaking.

Thanks much,

Peter

The vent is a plastic tube with a white round plastic "dime" at the end .Check if the "dime" is there .If not ,you can get it separate. But i must tell you you that gas has to come out (a bit )to get the air vent working,it will be always dripping a bit.
