A simple splice really.

I bought a 25' length of Amsteel Blue for kids ATV adventures:smile2:. He'd prefer two shorter lengths and thimble the two resulting ends. That's it for now.

I splice all my own lines and cables , double braid, plaid laid, 3 strand, tenex, Kevlar, spectra, you name it I've probably have spliced it. If you've never spliced it it'll prob take you an hour to do the first one, after that about 10mins. You'll need some fids which can be made out ofwire coat hangers, or you can buy some fids through west marine. They sell a splicing kit. Look online and there is some really great step by step instructions, I'll look and see what I got at work for splicing manuals and I'll scan them and pm you. If anyone charges you $30 to put a thimble in a line it better be a 8" diameter Hawser.
