I'm new to this forum and am looking for some help. I bought a used hardy h4 and need some information. The stove was a steal, but all mechanicals have had to be replaced along with the potoble water coil. The stove sat for 2 years uncovered before i bought it. This is where the problem comes in. The stove had ash buildup in the firebox, mixing with the rain coming through the stack, has caused holes in the firebox/water jacket wall. My question is how the water jacket is sealed internally? The door on the stove isn't big enough to use a welder on the inside. Does the bottom plate come off so we can axess the firebox to weld patches? Sorry so long winded, just looking for some help so i can get this stove working. thanks in advance
