Lovin me Some Firewood!

Got me some red oak brought in, fixin to fire up the ole buck to get the chill out of the air in the house. Nothing like a good fire with some dry red oak on a cold winter evening to make you smile! Merry Christmas Firewood Burners!!

I have been in to a good bit of it myself. I love oak and cherry.

Well, we have had a slimy wet cool spell here, but it is fixin to get winter cold again. Yep, good wood heat is real hard to beat.

I have around 30 cubic ft of sticks/rounds/splits inside behind the stove, toasting away (well, once the surface moisture steams off...). Gonna bring in one or two more wheelbarrows worth, that should fill that space just fine.

Cold evening, warm fire, amorous wife..................it doesn't get much better than that.
