Making a 3/4 wrap handle

I have a 056 and have been looking for a full wrap handle for a while now. once in a blue moon one will come by on ebay, but i never win. I have been thinking about making one myself out of and extra handle i have. I have a friend who welds magnesium pretty good, i've had him do a coupel clutch covers.

Has anyone tried to do this. I was thinking of skipping the bottom mount and getting creative to make a 3/4 wrap, thats really what i like to do.

I's be using ally tubing instead of mag, so instead of someone who welds mag you need someone like my BIL who can bend ally.
