Anybody using a masonry stove or heater? Curious what your experience with it was. What did it cost? Was it an add on stove or was the house built around it? Anyone build one themselves? Thanks, Cobbler

Cobbler, sorry but I never have owned one. I have seen many though, mostly in Europe. I like the idea however I think on those days when the temperature changes abruptly you might find them to be problematic. Basically they don't heat up and cool off quickly. These things are great for Europe where they don't have large temperature changes within one day. For people in New England like me, the temp changes too fast. I'll stick to a wood stove.
