Sold Mastermind Makita 6401

I bought this saw from Warped5 in Dec. and have run 3 tanks of fuel thru it since then.

I am selling because it doesn't get used, due to its size/weight. The chain on it is the one that came on it from Warped, and needs sharpened. I am asking $450 plus shipping to the lower 48.
I will also be adding a 026 that was done by Moody, and was part of Terrys fund raiser. Proceeds from these two sales will put a new 550 from Terry in the back of my truck. Thanks for looking.

If shipping did not cost so much to Australia i would buy every dolmar/makita saw i came across! Don't know why, as these are fantastic saws, but the 6400 - 7900 saws just don't get the following that they deserve.

I think it's priced about right. I would keep bumping it to the top and be patient. Saw selling has been a little slow recently but will pick up as the weather cools.

He is one of the premier builders on this site. This saw got a woods port and rebuild. Woods port is designed to improve performance yet still be a workable saw. I will let those that do it, explain what porting is designed to do.

It was my first ported saw, and It is a screamer.........just pulls and pulls. Very well built saw, and is loved by those that give them a try, and can be converted to a 79cc saw with factory parts for less than 300 dollars, well plus porting. I only run ported saws, and I just got into them in Dec.......it is a sickness
