I bought this 044 from the orignal owner about 2 years ago. He bought it to clean up a few storm damaged trees, since he didn't like a local tree companies quote. He didn't have a wood stove, or have a real use for the saw after his trees were cleaned up. He told me he only used the saw occasionally over the years. He was moving and had no use for it anymore. This is a real low hour 044.
When I 1st got it, I ran a tank through it just to make sure it was on the up & up. It's a good strong running 10mm 044. It's a early saw with the KS cylinder. Black paint is not even burned off of the muffler. Far as I know it is all stock, all original circa 1991.
Cosmetically the saw has a few paint chips, and a few scratches. Over all it's a next to mint saw.
I have the orignal box the saw came in, owners manual, tool kit, and two bars, one 18" and one 24", and a few chains for each bar.
Price $800, no trades, open to offers.
