Montgomery ward riding mower won't stay on

I got this mower a few years back and it ran great for a while. Then started to rattle off its motor mounts. Fixed that but lost track of a couple parts. Does anyone have a schematic of the carb and throttle assembly? What are the settings for the carb? And how imperative is it to keep the stock air filter? The serial # is tmo 33902 b g114c

Did you ever feel so broke it was hard to pay attention ?
With bad mounts it could be an electrical graound problem. could be a dirty fuel system. could be one of those lost track parts.
