MS 251 limiter cap removal

I have an 251 on the bench, 1st 1 i had.
The dry wall screw method appears to be obsolete for this generation of stihls, looks like a metal insert to prevent limiter from being tampered with or something like that. How do you get to the limiter to remove or readjust it in that model?

Look in the manual I put up.
It should tell you.

Drill the steel roll pin on the side.

Here's a TI on them... basically, line up the notch in the limiter with the roll pin and pull it out with a wood screw.

I expect the limiter must be reinstalled to keep the screws from vibrating in or out, or can they be left out ?
