Coincidentally, my 270 had a leaky fuel line hidden in the bung/grommet.

Absolutely rips. Impressive rpm's, torque, and balance to run all day.

Now if the dealer tech had taken the time ensure my saw was operational, he'd have made another half or hour of time, just for a quick phone call.
 
It took me awhile to remember your original post, GeeVee. I'm glad you finally got that 270 running right.

I bucked up some firewood with mine yesterday and was thinking what a fun saw it is to run. It's lighter than the 361, about perfect for 10-12 inch hardwood IMO.
 
The coil was bad, I knew that, but you must have it installed at the dealer under warranty.

If the tech had operated the saw for functional operation after he changed out the coil- he'd have made some more money.

The sum total of my expenditure is insignificant, really.

I dare not offend the real techs here going further. But thanks guys, for asking.

Its a good saw.
