So my family and I lived in MS for 4 years and we began growing one of those famous oak trees from an acorn. We moved to VA and brought the tree with us in a pot. While in the pot I noticed the top of the tree about the top six inches had died but the rest of the tree was fine. I recently transported it to the ground and is growing great but for the top. What should I do? Should I cut the dead part off?
