MS271

Anyone have a ms 271 or ms291 cylinder?
A guy gave me a 271 and cylinder cannot be fixed ,

No one makes a aftermarket cylinder for these class 1141 saw

I have one here I have threaten to throw in the river. Ebay is full of these POS MS251, MS271, MS291... Stihl ought to give everybody their money back that bought these POS and an apology letter. They are not worth buying a cylinder for IMO... Also one of the God alfulest designs mankind has ever made. I think the Engineers were either drunk or wanted to make sure they changed every part from the older designs so you would have to go to Stihl to buy them.

Yep agree , but if you can port it and trash the EPA carb, it ain't bad
