Bought this saw a while ago from a member here. It was a bucket of parts with a few missing. I bought all the needed parts and got it running. I used it to cut a bunch of cookies with a 28" bar in a large Elm this spring and decided I prefer my 044, put it on the shelf and have not used it since. It is not a shelf queen but not beat to pieces. Only thing wrong with it that I am aware of is that there are two small cracks in the cover and the side emblem is missing. piston is great, not sure on compression as I don't have a compression gauge.
