Muffler mod question?

I was just curious if it mattered whether or not you should put some hours on a saw before you mod it. Personally I have always went about ten hours before I started messin around with anything. Just wondering!
 
I like to put a few hours on them just to make sure there isn't something stupid wrong... then....


Some times I like the way it cuts anyhow and it take a lot longer to get around to it. Had my 361 a year before I modded it..
 
I buy a second muffler that I mod and keep the original one just in case something happens with the saw in the first couple of months, but I do run my saws muffler modded from start ,,,,,
