My wife wants me to plant the mums she bought a few weeks ago.

I was thinking they might look good under a small dogwood tree I have in the front yard.

Could the mums cause problems for my dogwood? I don't know, rob them of water?

Thanks,

Clay

More like rob them of roots; bad idea. mums are pretty deep-rooted and dogwoods are shallow-rooted. Why not just put them there in a container?
