Does anybody know of or have a known supplier where I can purchase Mobil MX2T in the Plattsburg, N.Y or Burlington, Vt or Lake Champlain areas.

Smaller stores may shelve it in the backroom with the batteries.
You are looking for a pint bottle either red or silver-grey in color.
It's well worth the initial trouble, IMHO.

lobo, PLATTSBURGH HUH!! wow beautiful area! worked up there in 98 or 99 icestorm that came through. its a long way from pittsburgh to there kinda quiet area isnt it? you take care and be safe. by the way some of the guys i was up there with crossed over into canada and had a hell of a time gettin back across. ha!! it was a fun time despite the destruction. (You're right about the sharp chain -- I'm coming to a conclusion that oil impregnated sawdust, created by a dull chain, is one of the main culprits for the failures of chainsaws.)
