He bought it back in the late 70s or early 80s up in Siren Wi., he used it to cut much of the diseased elm at that time and cleared an addition to a golf coarse and needed 15 cord to heat the old house he lived in.
Scratched in the paint by the gashole is 16-1, also in marker on the top cover and he says thats what he always mixed.
Lots of the paint is gone and the front of the recoil has been doctored with epoxy but still has a ton of compression, starts on 5 pulls cold.
I have a hard time with these slow revin old saws but it seems to get thru the log just as fast.
Oh, did I mention it's an L77.:D
 
I have never been a superfan of the solid orange saws but that has nice lines and rumble to it, not as sexy as a pioneer 650 muffler mind you, but solid and sleek looking.
wow reading that back I need to co-host project runway or something, somebody get me a feather boa :)
