Hello all, I just recieved a new rope (New England Multi line II 1/2 in. ) and was wondering if I could use this rope in conjuction with a small porta wrap ? I have always done things the old fashioned way ( take a wrap ) , but would like to upgrade my methods. Will the that rope pigtail when it runs thru the porta wrap? I dont want to ruin it right away trying somthing new. Thanks in advance.

my experience with 3 strand and porta wraps is the rope twists up forming kinks it does not ruin the rope because you can simply stretch the rope out and take the twist out of the rope and its back to normal just be careful when you "let it run" if you get one of the kinks jammed into your hand it can hurt and depending how big the piece is and weather your expecting it or not you could get yanked forward. we use a 3 strand and a porty all the time its just a pain in the neck messing with the twist
