Good afternoon, folks.

I'm looking to upgrade my rope from Samson Vortex to a new rope. I originally got that rope for DDRT, but I'm now climbing SRT and feel it bounces too much on longer climbs.

My equipment:
  • Rope Runner Pro
  • Notch Jet Step
  • Knee Ascender (forgot which brand, I think it's Camp's)

Ideally, I would like it to be above 12mm, as I want good grip with my hand. With that said, I'm quickly realizing I might have to settle for a smaller diameter rope.

Finally, I would like to order from Treestuff, since they are running a promotion.

Advice would be appreciated.
I would prefer these attributes in order of importance (bolded are most important):
  • On the Treestuff website
  • Static
  • Minimal deformation (the Vortex gets deformed quite a bit from my RRP).
  • Great MBS/WLL
  • Good knotability/pliability (for the rare times I'll be doing MRS/DDRT)
  • >12mm
Thanks for the advice.
