Question...
I climb DRT/MRS and I want to move to the rope runner pro. It's MWL is rated for 300lbs. I weigh 256 in underwear and it's not fat (I'll attach a photo from today) . On DRT, the weight isn't perfectly cut in half, but it is distributed far below my 256lbs. My question is, would it be safe to move to the rope runner? I trust my VT pulley setup alot because I tie it new everyday. I don't feel like I trust metal on rope all that much.
Will it be fine? Am I an idiot for having to ask this question?

even on SRT you will be fine, honestly id be fine running any 300 pound rated mechanical at much, much more than that, not suggesting it, just saying from my experience with the zigzag+, ART positioner 2 swivel, unicender and akimbo the weight will be no issue whatsoever

maybe itll wear a little faster than you like, but a RRP is cheap to rebuild anyways
