hi guy,s well thanks to geoff, i just found out that my nice saw is a MOBILCO BIG 10-130cc
regards peter

hi mac,
that will be the next thing, its got no spark at the moment and have to source a carby kit as im not sure when it was ran last.
then cleaned up and repainted, may try and find the decals for it. if possible
regards peter

From what I can see in the pic, that carburetor looks to be a Tillotson HC. That's a gravity fed version of a Tillotson HL (doesn't have the pump section of the HL). I have the same carb on my Mono/Wards WD60, Homelite Buz, and my friend's Bolens Thrifty 3010. They were also used on the Homelite 500, McCulloch Mac 15, and other 'economy' saws of the early 1960's. Takes an RK-88HL repair kit, or a DG-5HL or DG2HL diaphragm/gasket kit. Available anywhere.

Ok Guys where back to this a gain

This turned up today, just waiting on the gasket to arrive and carby back together , hopefully then ill have a video of the first start up very soon
Getting close now

Also could some one tell me what AIR CLEANER went on this saw as im after that as well
Its to go on A till HC16A carby , which is strange asthats a MCc carby
If any one has one laying around please shoot it my way please
Peter
AFTER a TILLOTSON HC16A carby thats in good nice to go on my BIG 10 if any one can help me out please
It also fits MCCULLOCH MAC 15 CHAINSAW
Need ready to bolt on the saw
The saw fires but wont run at all

Well just put the carby back on after sonic cleaning but still only wants to fire not a hint of running
So dropped the points setting to 25 thou hoping this would help but same thing happens, just fires
So now im stuff, dont know what to do now
Timing was done with a dial guage and set at 4.6mm BTDC so i know thats right
Im just wondering if it is the wrong carby for the saw, mine is HC16A
Every one else ive asked that has one of these saws use HL114A or HL114B
Any help on this would be great please as now i dont know what to do
Regards Peter
