Hi there guys. Finally back online. I've been doing a lot of milling with my original mill but I was in the garage and I was sorting through my bits of metal and I realised I had all the material to make an Alaskan/GB style milling jig. It's a bit rough but it cuts well. Here's a few shots of its maiden voyage.
 
Hey, it's not about what it looks like, it's about what it cuts like. If you get good boards out of it, it's a good mill.

Like aggie, I agree completely... one look at some of the awkward looking jigs in my shop proves this. But hey, after usually several iterations as I improve them, they WORK! That's the bottom line.
