Yup works good

when we were in Kansas we had one, as long as you have electricity the blower will fill the house with hot air

Very basic, but to heat an out building like a garage/work shop, looks very interesting. As for being up to code, I'm not familiar with the regulations.

Yep sure looks like it too me too although I've got too say, I've seen several "barrel stoves" ($45 kit added to drum) that people use in cabins and even in a small farmhouse around here! They change the barrel out every other year I believe and reuse the door and vent kit.
