Good morning! Looking to replace an old Stihl 041. I have some large rounds to buck. The old Stihl runs great but it is heavy. Also there is not a chain break on it. Looking for suggestions on an upgrade. Thanks

Budget would help. Most on here, including myself, will recommend a professional saw. Local dealer nearby? Great starting place.

Most newer model pro 60cc saws will give you about as much pulling power as an 041 with more rpm speed and lighter weight. More practical for a 20 to 24inch bar. The better 50cc saws will pull up to 20in bars well if you are not pushing them through a lot of big trunks or stumps like over 15in..
On the other hand extra power is usually a good thing if weight isn't slowing your body down. If you have much wood to cut, having big and small saws makes life easier matching the tool to the work. 1 or more small to medium saws with the largest saw you need is ideal IMO.
Echo saws are usually cheaper to start with. Stihls usually cost more but usually retain a higher resale value. Husqvarna fall inbetween imo.
They all cut wood well with a good bar and sharp chain. Dealer support and parts availability is an important consideration.
