New use for the Blakes Hitch

Hello all,
I have been out of town for a while.
Here is a couple of pictures demonstrating the versatility of the Blakes hitch. Thought you might find this interesting. I was using it to adjust the tension on the helicopters main rotor blade socks (used to keep the blades from flapping up and down) on a resent south east pacific drug interdiction patrol. No one onboard, even the old salt boaters had ever seen such a friction hitch. It worked very well, the sock need a quick and easy way to provide adjustments and the hitch did the trick.
