Cant recall anymore on size but swear I used the 1/4OD on the 5400. Old oem I am guessing to the right 1st pic.
Just recall it was a big line with a tight fit. No leaks that way. Fit the fuel filter and carb ID too.
Thinking I went with tygon 4040 for this one

I believe the line that came on the counter vibes was 3/16 ID but was a thinner wall thickness that fit the tank hole nicely. Apparently not made anymore.

I always figured there would be a rubber line that would work better than the Tygon but never looked too hard for one.

Yes that is the one that I checked, I'm sure 1/8 would be a stretch to get over the carb fitting

It is a tight fit, but it fits and don't leak, line real flexible also.

Looks like my 295. I was using it today to cut down a pair of 40 + year old weeping mulberry's I don't think I've ever seen any thing so intertwined like that. It took two of us over four hours to pull them apart with lopping shears. About 20 bundles of sticks and two tanks of fuel for the saw

I did find something interesting in the tree. A rusty compass. Not sure what that was doing there.

Some kid got into dads shed and was playing with it and it never found home again and dad lay on his death bed still wondering what happened to that dam compass and the boy never told lol

I'm going to clean them up and use them. A great tool for measuring seal pockets if access doesn't allow a vernier in there.

They are a high quality tool if somewhat abused. The adjuster still rolls smoothly.

I can't make out anything on them now. Maybe when they're cleaned.

Any suggestions on cleaning them up? I was thinking about starting with a vinegar soak.

Great find!

Those are awesome for tracing out rounds in making custom gaskets.

I used some stuff called Metal Rescue last month & it worked great on some rusty muffs.

Not to be confused with a douche though...lol

It’s non toxic & works best at high temperature & a long soak time. I put it in an ash bucket on the wood stove to get it it hot.

Comes in a gallon jug, but reusable it says.

Check out this Poulan S25CV drum sprocket, looks like it's gone way too far for a JB weld patch... lol

There’s some maintenance challenged people out there for sure!
