Well, I bounce once in a while at an all nude bar, the wife doesn't care, especially when I come home with a couple hundred in cash for a few hours work, lol. She's pretty cool with the saws, she runs her Poulan and she's going to try her hand with one of the bigger ones this weekend now that she is comfortable with the 2900.
Guys, I am up that creek without thrust and need help. I need Poulan 530069190 gasket set for 3400-4000 and it is NLA. How do I get ahold of parish since he will be it. TIA......

Alot of the gaskets can still be ordered seperatly. Crank seals as well. The cyl gasket and carb gasket are two that stick out as not being in stock anymore. I just ordered and recieved the whole set of gaskets and diaphragms for the oiler as well.
You might give that a try. I'll PM you some other ideas.

Micro 25 Clutch removal help
I have a Poulan Micro 25 that I need to remove the clutch on. I ordered Husqvarna clutch removal tool 530 03 11 12 from Bailey’s. Bailey’s said this is the same tool at Poulan part# 31112 or 31115 and would work on the Micro 25. However, the studs on the clutch tool do not fit into the holes on the clutch. The holes are spaced too far apart and are a little smaller than the studs. The studs do however fit loosely in two depressions on the clutch. I haven’t actually tried removing the clutch yet but I think it may work. I was wondering if I have the wrong tool or I have an aftermarket clutch? Also, I noticed one of the studs on the tool slides in and out. The other stud is fixed in place. Is this right or did I get a defective tool? What would be the purpose of this? Thanks for any info!

hammer and a punch work in a pinch did for me... rope down in the plug hole ..... for the micro on a 25 da you can clamp a large vise grip on it and they come off real easy no hitting anything....on the micro i used the punch it worked pretty easy... im sure these guys can tell ya the best way i swung a hammer for 25 years and hit a lil punch so im really confident in swing one and hitting where i try to hit...ya may wanna let the others chime in though..

I also have a Poulan 2300. I just tried this clutch tool on it and it doesn't even remotely fit. I'm thinking I may have the wrong tool.

There are 3 different clutch tools for these Poulans.
It's not a "one size fits all" deal.

I use a hammer and drift to remove these clutches. Put rope in cylinder and give it a whack.
What's the story on this....
I got a 306A, but it doesn't have a 306A decal on the bar cover.....it says Thirty-0-Six Automatic. All of my other 306s have the 306 decal. Anyone know anything about this one????

As far as I know, its just an early version of the 306. They later changed decal styles. If Im wrong, Im sure Mark will know.
I have one like that also. Some of the earlier Poulans also were a duller shade of Pea Green, rather than the brighter Lime Green.

Micro 25 Oiler
I have a Poulan Micro 25 which I just recently bought. I was checking the oil and gas tanks out to see if they were full of dirt or anything and noticed a piece of tubing in the bottom of the oil tank, not connected to anything. I assume it goes on the oiler and I guess there's another nipple to put the other end on near the bar mount to oil the chain. My question is, do I have to take the whole saw apart to split the tank to put the new line on it? It looks like it to me, but it would be nice if there was a shortcut. Thanks

Yeah, mine is pretty much just like yours. I think that mine might have the original bar, still on it, but I've never seen pics of an OE bar......

No you do not have to split it to replace the line. The service manual points out how easy it is to fish a new line up through it. I'm sure I posted that info and page from the manual before.
Very very nice thirty-0-six you got there. Gregg is correct that they were just a early 306 model. Around 72 if I'm not mistaken and yes that bar is what could have came on it originally.
