i spent the last week in mexico and belieze.
saw a young kid free climb a palm tree to get a coconut. he went up bare feet clinging to the tree like a monkey got to the top and hung off the fronds with one hand and used the other to remove coconuts. then he slid back down the tree on his feet. i considered trying it and then realized i would quickly become a lump of decomposing arborist on the jungle floor when i fell off.
