I see the Hayauchi for $190 + Ship, over at Baileys... Is there a better deal out there on this expensive saw?

Have you ever used one of these saws?

Nope... But I have large (ok giant) beech trees that have there first limb at 20 feet, and to just get the dam mower under them I need to reach that high up, they get droopy with beechnuts.

And since I do not have any other pole saw, a bucket truck, and I am not going to "climb" a tree 4 foot around at the trunk with no limbs within reach (forget spikes ,and I cant levitate) I have little choice..

You'll be very pleasantly surprised with the saw. Silky makes great stuff.
In your case, it might be better for the trees to use a pole loppers and just lighten up the tips.
Removing lower limbs can expose the tree to all kinds of tree health issuses.
Have you thought about creating mulch beds under the trees? Then you could let the limbs grow right down to the ground, and your lawn area would be smaller, which means less mowing. Not having grass is better for the trees and looks real nice too.
